About the Captain
Captain Robert Marascalco is a native of North Georgia and the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains where he started as a young child fly fishing the rivers and bass fishing the lakes. Since 2014, he has called the Golden Isles home. Over the years, Robert has spent his free time fishing all over North Carolina, North Georgia, the waters of Coastal Georgia, Florida, Bahamas and Costa Rica.
In 2017 his lifelong dream to become a charter captain came to fruition when he took ownership of Coastal Island Charter Fishing. For 2 years he immersed himself in learning the fisheries of the South Georgia and North Florida coasts under the instruction of former owner of CICF and well respected local, Captain Ashley Parmelee.
After 6 years of primarily offshore fishing, Robert found that his true passion lies in investing in the budding passion of new anglers both young and old and in giving opportunity, to those who would not otherwise have it, to experience the Golden Isles and its ecosystem from the opposite side of the dock.
About the Boat
Captain Robert operates Lady Katherine, a 22 foot Bulls Bay with a T-top that offers a break from the sun and comfortably handles up to 6 guests. On board is plenty of dry storage and a cooler for drinks and snacks.You can bring your own or for an additional fee, have Capt. Robert bring them for you. No need to pack your cooler! He’ll have them waiting for you ice and all!
