All trips as described are customizable to the extent that the Captain agrees to for the purpose of the guests’ comfort and, most importantly, safety. The Captain reserves the right to make the final decisions based on weather and water conditions.
This trip is geared towards any novice angler, regardless of age, or those who just want to get on the water and wet a line. The goal of this trip is to catch and learn about a variety of fish and marine life while also teaching the basics of casting and reeling. The guests’ level of involvement in the process is completely customizable.
Shark trips are perfect for those desiring an up close and personal encounter with the ocean’s apex predator. The coast of Georgia boasts a wide variety of shark species and St. Simons, in particular, is a large breeding and birthing ground. On this trip you can expect to catch from the smallest that you can boat and hold for that photo op up to the large that will test the strength of the toughest. All shark trips are catch and release and are most optimal when the water temperatures are warmer and the shrimp boats are running.
For those who love the thrill of site fishing and casting, Triple Tail run in the Spring. And for those who love to bottom fish and see the rod bend, hear the reel squeal, and crank in a big one after a good fight, the Bull Reds run in the fall. These trips are only offered in season. Call to inquire about pricing and availability.
This trip is designed to encompass a tour of the St. Simons Sound & Lighthouse, the northern coast of Jekyll and the Frederica River leading to Fort Frederica. As with any of our trips, this trip belongs to the guest and is completely customizable.
This is our most customizable trip and, as such, is a variable rate & requires a conversation with Captain Robert regarding your desired activities. Duration of trip, destinations & activities such as fishing, exploring Shark’s Tooth Beach, seeing the horses on the coast of Cumberland, exploring the other barrier islands or taking a lunch outing to Darien are all things to be considered and discussed with the Captain based on your group’s preference and budget.
This action-packed trip is perfect for the angler who enjoys the sport of fishing and a good fight. Sharks and stingrays are targeted on this catch-and-release trip. Those who desire some "eating" fish can also request that the captain target whiting.
This trip is designed to introduce children to the love of fishing and to the incredible ecosystem of the beautiful Golden Isles. Species vary by season and include but are not limited to sharks, sting rays, whiting, trout, and redfish. Bird watching and dolphin sightings are a regular occurrence as well.
Sit back and relax as our Captain guides your group alongside pods of dolphins, below flocks of gulls, and through the marsh while enjoying an idyllic sunset in the Golden Isles.
